Goalsetter
Founded by Tanya Van Court in 2016, Goalsetter is an education-first family finance and technology platform offering credit unions a 360° solution for reaching their next generation of members. A former Nickelodeon and Discovery Education executive, Tanya had a long career trajectory in creating digital products, but it wasn't until her 8-year-old daughter asked for an investment account and a bike for her ninth birthday that she realized her true calling. In that moment, she knew if she could get every kid in America to become a saver and investor instead of a consumer, she could change the world. And so, Goalsetter was born.
How a strategic alliance with Goalsetter benefits credit unions
Goalsetter enables credit unions to cultivate relationships with the next generation today to help them become lifelong credit union members tomorrow. In addition to growing members, Goalsetter helps credit unions to grow deposits as kids grow – and retain those deposits at their own institutions.
By white-labeling the Goalsetter App and partnering with Goalsetter for Goalsetter Classroom, credit unions can engage future members with savings accounts, debit cards, and fun, game-based financial education tools that revolutionize their credit union experience.
Why choose Goalsetter?
Like credit unions, Goalsetter is focused on improving members’ relationships with money through valuable and trusted services. We focus on aligning to the credit union's needs for increased deposits, next-generation membership, and transformational - rather than transactional – relationships. Our commitment to empowering credit unions - rather than competing with them – makes us uniquely positioned to be long-term partners for both credit unions and the communities they serve, because when credit unions succeed, we succeed too.
Goalsetter's award-winning offering has also been recognized as one of the “Finance Brands That Matter” by FastCompany1 and was named the “Best Personal Finance Product” by Fintech Breakthrough Awards2.
